My Journey as an
Author
I see writing as a calling. I never looked for it, but it's been there with me as far back as I can remember.
I've written all my life, in different guises, depending on my needs at the time. I began with fiction and short stories and poetry came to my aid over the last few years as I went through a time that needed that voice to articulate it.
It is only over the last few years that I have broken out of my writing shell so to speak and begun to share my pieces with the world. As I did, I started to see how we as humans need each other's voices to tackle the small and huge joys and griefs of life.
And that is why I continue to write. Because writing has been my comfort and solace over all these years, and it has given me a voice when I struggled to find one elsewhere. But now I share that voice with everyone who will listen so that I can hear the voices coming back at me. We all need human connection and we all need to be heard.

Hello, lovely readers
I don't just write for myself anymore, I write to connect with others and to encourage them to find their voice also. I quote C.S. Lewis we read to know we're not alone.
My venture into ghost writing is part of that pledge. To give others a voice through my writing is a great joy and privilege.
And I write also, of course, for the pure joy of it. Poetry and fiction is a magical way of exploring the world.
Thanks for joining me on my journey.
